What is meant by free Pastel support? Obviously, there are many instances that do not qualify as free Pastel support. For example, changes to your BIC (Business Intelligence Centre) model or a Pastel data rebuild, setting up forms or configuring 22 printers across a network. The important thing to remember is, free support will be made available to you should it be a simple answer to a simple question. There have been many occasions where clients have contacted us with "I know you are going to think I am being stupid but....." There are no stupid questions and every question, no matter how seemingly stupid, deserves an answer of some sort - even if it is an "I don't know" or "angaze". Most often, all that is required is an answer to a query or an explanation of an error message that pops up suddenly on Pastel and where else can you turn if you do not have Pastel Cover Support? If your problem turns out to be more than something easily resolved by a quick answer, we will tell you, advise you know how much it is going to cost to fix or for a qualified Pastel consultant to see you and let you make the decision. We will also relate the benefits of Pastel Cover to you. More often than not, it is something quite simple involving choosing a different option on the Pastel menu or simply reconfiguring or switching a printer on! How can you get an answer to your question, though, without someone to ask? A very wise man once said " If you want something - ask for it. If you don't get a positive answer, does it really matter? You may not have gained anything but you have certainly lost nothing!" So, go ahead - what have YOU got to lose?
